Con was Chairman of Partners of KPMG SA until December 2017 spending 27 years at KPMG and 17 years as a Partner. During his time at KPMG, Con specialised in providing professional services to the Financial Services and Property Sectors. Since leaving KPMG, Con co-founded Storage Investments Australia Pty Ltd and has established it as one of Australia's leading national self storage asset funds. Con also serves as Chairman of the South Australian Government’s Urban Renewal Authority.
At Storage Investments Australia, Con is responsible for debt and capital raising, asset growth and investor relations. He is responsible for governance, risk and fund compliance under Storage Investments Australian Financial Services Licence.
Con is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
David is a Civil and Structural Engineer with over 40 years of experience in the Design and Construction of Infrastructure Projects, and Industrial and Commercial Developments. David spent his early career as a Structural Design Engineer before forming a business to focus on the Design and Construct delivery of Infrastructure Projects and Industrial Developments. In 1990 the business merged with Built Environs where David was an owner and Director from 1990 until 2005. As Engineering Director of Built Environs he was responsible for the delivery of over $500M of Industrial and Infrastructure Projects.
Prior to SIA, David completed several other Developments and was a Director of Wetlandcare Australia for 15 years and Chairman for 5 years.
At Storage Investments Australia, David is primarily responsible for the Safety, Cost and Quality on all Self Storage Developments. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil & Structural) and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Engineers Australia.
Peter has over 30 years of national and international experience specialising in architectural site masterplanning and concept design for a wide range of multi-million dollar commercial, industrial and sporting facility developments.
Prior to joining Storage Investments Australia Peter held senior management positions within Woodhead Architects, Adelaide Development Company and Davis Langdon. Previous to this, Peter owned and managed SportDev, a national architectural practice providing dedicated design services to Tennis Australia.
Within Storage Investments Australia Peter is Director of Design and Planning responsible for overseeing site masterplanning, facility concept design and the management of statutory planning processes.
Peter is a Registered Architect with a Business Administration (MBA) degree having studied at both the Universities of Adelaide and South Australia.
Matt has over 27 years of experience in growing small and large companies within the civil and maintenance sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Before this, Matt spent four years on the professional tennis circuit. Matt started his career in 1994 where he was a joint Director of PMP - a specialised small road and pavement maintenance business starting with just four staff. Over the course of the next 14 years PMP grew to a business with over 80 staff operating across South Australia and Northern Territory. In July 2008 the business was sold to New Zealand based civil and infrastructure company Fulton Hogan.
In mid-2018 Matt returned to Australia and led the Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Business in Australia with over 2000 staff and in excess of $2 Billion of turnover as CEO. This business has also seen significant growth over the last four years. Matt has held Board positions for various Industry Associations and Incorporated Joint Ventures across the civil and maintenance sectors. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Kevin has more than 30 years of director/executive management experience spanning Government, ASX listed, private companies and the not-for-profit sector. Over this period he has held senior finance and operations roles across a broad range of industries and sectors including property, mining and medical. Most recently Kevin was Chief Financial Officer for large private and ASX listed businesses as well as providing advisory services to Bendigo Bank across a number of projects.
Kevin was instrumental in the formation of Storage Investments Australia establishing a number of private development syndicates for formative self-storage projects of today’s business.
At Storage Investments Australia Kevin oversees the project development activities including site acquisition and other growth opportunities as well as overseeing facility and store operations.
Kevin is a Chartered Accountant with a degree in accounting from the University of South Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Directors.
Jake has nearly 10 years of corporate finance and strategic advisory experience, and specialises in unlocking investor and shareholder value, structuring and executing transactions. Prior to joining Storage Investments Australia Jake worked for Rothschild & Co.’s UK mid-market investment banking division in London, where he was responsible for leading growth M&A transactions and investment advisory roles. Prior to this Jake worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Deloitte in Adelaide.
At Storage Investments Australia Jake helps lead capital raisings and structuring, new investments, strategic direction and implementation and broader funds management activities. Jake is a Chartered Accountant and holds a double degree Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance major) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide.
With more than 12 years of experience in construction, Ryan has been involved in the delivery of a number of new and high-quality building and refurbishment projects.
Prior to joining Storage Investments Australia Ryan began his career as a Carpenter before moving into Site Management with a large property development and construction enterprise delivering major commercial and residential projects.
Ryan joined Storage Investments Australia in 2017 as a dedicated Project Manager responsible for the construction and delivery of assets.
Ryan holds a Diploma in Construction Management with additional certifications in Site Supervision, Estimating & Carpentry.
Shannon has worked in the construction industry for 20 years, both on-site and within design practices. He specialises in concrete construction, and the production and management of project documentation.
Prior to joining Storage Investments Australia, Shannon worked as a site supervisor on large projects across metropolitan Sydney. He has also coordinated the construction documentation and design implementation of substantial overseas developments in Vietnam.
Within Storage Investments Australia, Shannon works with the design and construction teams coordinating deliverables on new developments, and partnering with the business' industry suppliers across all projects.
Shannon has a Diploma in Architectural Technology to support his trade and industry qualifications.
Zach has nearly 10 years of financial and systems advisory experience, and specialises in the end-to-end accounting function, data analysis and system implementations. Prior to joining Storage Investments Australia, Zach worked with one of Adelaide’s premier mid-tier professional services firm Perks - commencing in business services where his focus was the end-to-end accounting function for his clients.
With this solid foundation behind him, Zach transitioned into advisory where he specialised in systems implementations, data analytics, and outsourced CFO function.
Zach administers Storage Investments Australia's finance function and assists with the end-to-end accounting, compliance, and financial reporting functions of the group. Zach holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/Finance) degree from Flinders University.
After completing his Carpentry/Joinery apprenticeship in 2018, Tyson quickly progressed to Foreman, and Site Manager roles in commercial construction, before looking to further enhance his education. Tyson holds a Bachelor of Construction Management, that further supports his practical experience as Project Manager.
